Bananas for food are grown as an annual crop, making fiber
production an efficient mode of disposing of the 30’
waste. In the Terai region of southern Nepal, bananas
are grown. But the commercial supply is not sufficient
to meet our demand. Therefore, we bring raw fiber from
India for spinning and dyeing. We bring raw fiber from
India, spin, dye and weave into rugs in Kathmandu, Nepal.
